After several months of planning, data migration, and user training, Mercantile Press is pleased to announce the live deployment of their new EFI Pace MIS system.

EFI Pace is an integrated, cross-platform suite of highly customizable software modules that can be accessed from anywhere via standard Web browsers. The software runs on a Linux-based, SQL-compliant database server at Mercantile Press.

Because EFI Pace is browser-based, built-in browser tools such as tabs and bookmarks can be used to create shortcuts and otherwise enhance ease of use. Users also can change the appearance of the interface with CSS (cascading style sheets); import and export databases in popular formats such as Excel spreadsheets; and generate custom reports.

Mercantile Press offers online ordering, soft proofing, and order tracking to their customers via a powerful suite of web portals, tied together by their Job Management System.  Now that EFI Pace is online, customer orders can flow directly into their production systems, improving turnaround time and eliminating the need to re-key orders.
